Imes' Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter flavor Crisco or regular
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. milk
    pinch of salt
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. black walnuts, chopped fine
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Add milk and dry ingredients alternately.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in a loaf pan, which has been greased and floured, for 40 minutes or until tests done with toothpick inserted into cake.
