Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. water
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
2 c. beets
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and flour in a medium saucepan.
Add vinegar and water.
Cook until thick and add butter.
Add 2 cups sliced or julienned cooked beets to prepared sauce and heat.
Serves 4 to 6.
