Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook sugar, syrup and water to 275\u00b0 on candy thermometer. Meanwhile, in large bowl on high speed, beat egg whites with salt until it peaks.
Add hot syrup mixture slowly to beaten egg whites and vanilla.
Beat until thick enough to swirl off a spoon onto wax paper.
Let stand until hard.
