Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. flour
2 c. milk
4 beaten egg yolks
1/2 stick oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients together and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and comes to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Add 1/2 stick oleo and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
Pour in 9-inch pie shell.
Top with meringue made from 4 stiffly beaten egg whites, 8 tablespoons sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
