Old Fashioned Sugar Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour (scant)
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. cream or half and half
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter
    cinnamon to taste
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Sift together sugar, flour and salt and add 2 cups cream and vanilla, beating thoroughly; pour into pie shell.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 45 to 50 minutes longer.
    Filling should boil in little heat bubbles over entire pie and is done when a golden brown and still shaky but not runny.
