Oven Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    3/4 c. water
    1 can mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Cut steak into serving size pieces and place in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
    Cover well with aluminum foil.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Stir once or twice during the last hour.
    Serve with noodles.
    Serves 4 to 6.
