Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs, separated
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted fat
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Beat the egg yolk and whites separately.
Combine egg yolks, milk, and fat.
Mix with dry ingredients, stirring only until the batter is smooth.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake in a hot waffle baker.
Yield:
4 waffles.
