Peach Pickle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. firm peaches
    3 lb. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    2 sticks cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar and spices and let come to a boil. Peel peaches and add to syrup, letting them boil 4 minutes or until easily pierced with a toothpick.
    Remove peaches and place in jars.
    Let vinegar boil 5 minutes more, then pour over peaches and seal.
