Out Of This World Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 can cherry pie filling
3/4 c. sugar
1 large can crushed pineapple with juice
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. red food color (optional)
1 (3 oz.) box cherry Jell-O
4 bananas, sliced
1 c. chopped pecans
2 baked pie shells
whipped topping

Preparation

In a saucepan, combine pie filling with sugar, pineapple and juice, cornstarch and food color.
Cook until thick.
Remove from heat and add Jell-O.
Allow to cool.
Add sliced bananas and pecans after cool.
Pour into 2 pie shells and top with whipped topping. Keep refrigerated.
