Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can Hunt's meat loaf fixings tomato sauce
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. bread crumbs (Italian style)
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
pinch of cloves
pinch of baking powder
1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. parsley
2 lb. ground chuck
3 slices bacon
3 slices cheese
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Combine 1 cup meat loaf fixings with eggs.
Add next 8 ingredients; mix thoroughly.
Add ground chuck and thoroughly combine.
Shape half of meat loaf in shallow pan.
Fold cheese slices in half; place on top of meat loaf.
Add rest of meat mixture.
Make sure meat is sealed around cheese.
Cut bacon in half and lay on top of meat loaf.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Drain off grease.
Mix remaining tomato sauce with the brown sugar and seasonings to make topping.
Pour over meat loaf.
Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer.
