Cabbage Patch Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shredded cabbage
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1/2 c. diced celery
    2 medium onions, thinly sliced
    1 can stewed tomatoes, chopped
    1 can kidney beans
    1/2 c. tomato sauce
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown ground chuck.
    Cook cabbage, celery and onions until yellow.
    Cover with 2 cups of water and simmer 20 minutes.
    Put into a large pot and add tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper.
    Simmer until ready to serve.
