Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. tomatoes
    1 bunch celery
    6 medium onions
    3 green peppers
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    4 Tbsp. salt
    5 c. brown sugar
    3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Peel tomatoes and chop coarsely. Chop celery, onions and peppers finely and add to tomatoes in a large saucepan.
    Add remaining ingredients, mix and simmer slowly, stirring occasionally until desired thickness (about 1 1/2 to 2 hours). Pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal.
