Indian Fry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/3 c. warm water
    2 tsp. oil
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add warm water and oil to flour, salt and baking powder.
    Dough should be soft but not sticky.
    Knead until smooth, not too much and don't use rolling pin.
    Tear off pieces about the size of a lemon.
    Pat and stretch until thin, about 1/4 to 1/2-inch.
    Poke hole in center with finger.
    Fry in hot deep fat (can use electric skillet).
    Fry until golden brown on both sides.
    Drain on paper towel.
