Low-Fat Submarine Sandwich - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 to 20-inch long) unsliced French bread
2 Tbsp. mustard
4 oz. fat-free Mozzarella cheese
4 oz. turkey, thinly sliced
2 oz. lean ham, thinly sliced
2 c. lettuce, shredded
2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 medium green pepper, thinly sliced
1/4 c. nonfat Italian dressing
Preparation

Cut bread horizontally into halves.
Spread mustard on bottom half of loaf.
Layer cheese, turkey, ham, lettuce, tomatoes, onion and green pepper on bottom half of loaf.
Drizzle Italian dressing on top.
Cover with remaining bread half.
Secure loaf with toothpicks.
Makes 6 servings.
