Red Clam Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 cans chopped clams (reserve 1 c. liquid)
1/4 c. olive oil
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
3/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1 large can tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 small can tomato paste (6 oz.)
Preparation

Fry garlic in oil.
When browned, add spices and rest of ingredients plus 1 cup clam liquid (not clams).
Cook for 1 hour. Taste for flavor.
Add more spices, if needed.
Add clams; cook for 10 minutes more.
Serve over a thin pasta.
