Cheese Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium (2 c.) potatoes, diced
    1 medium (1/2 c.) carrot, sliced
    1 stalk (1/2 c.) celery, sliced
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    In 4-quart saucepan, over high heat, heat to boiling first 6 ingredients and 2 cups water.
    Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
    Do not drain.
