Ingredients

1 qt. calamondins, cut in half
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 qt. water
2 c. water
Preparation

Put cut calamondins in 1 1/2-quarts water and cook until tender (about 20 minutes).
Let stand overnight.
Put in strainer. Eliminate all seeds.
Put meat of fruit in blender, chop to desired size.
Add 1 1/2 cups sugar to 1 cup of prepared fruit along with 2 cups water.
Cook in heavy pan, stirring most of the time, until it gels (218\u00b0).
