Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. rice, uncooked
    1/2 medium cabbage, coarsely shredded or 1/2 to 1 lb. pkg. cabbage salad mix
    1 can beef broth soup
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion in skillet.
    Season to taste.
    Line bottom of 1 1/2 or 2-quart casserole with cabbage.
    Sprinkle rice over cabbage.
    Spread meat and onion mixture on top.
    Pour soup over all and bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on kind of rice used (instant or fast cooking requires less time).
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
