Rhubarb-Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. rhubarb, diced
    1 c. dates, chopped
    1/4 c. water (or more)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 t. butter
Preparation
    Cook rhubarb and dates in water for 5-8 minutes. Add sugar, crumbs and butter. Bake in a greased 1-quart casserole at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or other topping. Serves 4.
