Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
5 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream together butter and shortening. Add sugar and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to creamed mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour into a 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Yield 20-25 servings.
