Green Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cooked rice
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 12/ c. finely chopped parsley
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    6 eggs, separated
    butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    2 small cans mushrooms
Preparation
    Combine rice, cheese, parsley, onion, egg yolks and 1/2 cup melted butter in mixing bowl.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan; stir in flour to make a smooth paste.
    Add milk gradually, stirring until well.
