Macaroni Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can pineapple, drained
    1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail, drained
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 box ring macaroni, cooked and cooled
    4 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine the first 6 ingredients.
    Cook the eggs, lemon juice and powdered sugar and cool.
    Stir constantly until thick.
    When cool, pour over fruit and macaroni mixture.
    Let stand overnight. Before serving, add 1 cup Cool Whip or whipped cream.
