Quince Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 quinces
    6 or 8 sweet apples
    1 small can well drained, crushed pineapple (optional)
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Slice quinces and apples.
    Add sugar and water.
    Add pineapple, if desired.
    Boil until tender.
    Pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal.
    Makes about 3 pints.
