Ingredients

6 large ripe tomatoes
6 large sour apples
4 medium sized onions
4 hot red peppers
1 lb. seeded raisins
1 lb. light brown sugar
1 qt. cider vinegar
3 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. freshly ground cinnamon
Preparation

Chop all ingredients in fine dice.
Cook slowly for 3 hours; pack and seal.
Modern day hint, grind cinnamon sticks in mini coffee grinder.
My mama placed them in double layers of cheesecloth and smashed them with a hammer!
This is very good served along side baked ham, roast beef, roast chicken and other meats.
