Soft Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 3/4 c. shortening
flour (according to the feel)
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda (level)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, one at a time.
Add baking powder, soda and salt.
Add flour to suit; then add nutmeg and vanilla.
Mix to a soft dough for drop cookies or add more flour to suit for rolled cookies.
