Sugar Crumb Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. shortening
4 c. self-rising flour
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour milk

Preparation

Sift flour in a large bowl. Add shortening until coarse like meal. Stir in sugar. Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
Mix in milk and vanilla. Stir until well blended and chill for several hours. Sprinkle with sugar and bake at 325\u00b0 until golden brown.
