Fresh Homemade Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. fresh ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. green peppers
    1/2 c. hot peppers (more if desired)
    4 cloves chopped garlic
    2 Tbsp. hot sauce (for more zing!)
Preparation
    Bring tomatoes to a simmer in a saucepan with vinegar.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer all ingredients for 1 hour or longer for a thicker consistency.
    Chill and serve with tortilla chips.
