Ginny'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large eggs
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 lb. cherries
    1 lb. pineapple
    4 c. pecans
    1/2 oz. vanilla
    1/2 oz. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream butter. Add sugar gradually and cream until fluffy.
    Add beaten eggs to mixture.
    Mix fruit and nuts with 3/4 cup flour. Sift remaining 1 cup flour and baking powder.
    Fold into egg and butter mixture. Add flavoring.
    Fold in fruit and nuts.
    Grease and line tube pan.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours (or until toothpick tests clean).
