Ingredients

1 1/2 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 can beets, drained
1/2 c. water
2 to 3 sticks cinnamon
Preparation

Bring vinegar, sugar, water and cinnamon to a boil and simmer approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
Pour this mixture over the beets.
Let the beets marinate in this mixture for several hours before serving.
