Almond Butter Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. slivered almonds or pecan pieces
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
Preparation
    Line bottom and sides of 8-inch pan with aluminum foil and butter it.
    Combine all ingredients in a 10-inch skillet.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat while stirring.
    Boil and stir until golden brown, 5 or 6 minutes.
    Spread into buttered pan and cool for 15 minutes.
    Peel off foil and break up into pieces.
