French Fried Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions
    Lard to equal 2 inches in cast iron skillet
    1/2 C milk
    1 C all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut onions crosswise into 1/4 inch slices.
    Heat lard in frying pan.
    In small dish, place milk.
    In a small bowl stir flour and salt well.
    Dip onion slices into milk, then flour, repeat twice. Cook 3-5 minutes, drain.
