Chicken Skewers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    4 tsp. fresh thyme or 2 tsp. dried
    4 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    3/4 lb. chicken breasts, cubed 1-inch
    1 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients to make a paste except chicken. Marinate meat for 1 hour. Saute 4 to 6 minutes.
    Using 18 small wooden skewers, skewer the chicken, some green peppers (cut into 1-inch pieces), broccoli pieces, mushrooms, pineapple and onion pieces.
    Barbecue or cook in a moderate oven for about 30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
