Cucumber Pickles(Sour) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. brined cukes
    2 qt. vinegar (for soaking)
    4 to 6 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. mixed spices (pickle)
    1 1/2 qt. vinegar (for syrup)
Preparation
    Soak the cucumbers in several changes of warm water to remove excess salt.
    Cover with vinegar; let them stand 4 to 6 days. Drain.
    Pack in hot jars.
    Cover with fresh hot vinegar.
    Seal.
