Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 can sweetened Eagle Brand milk
    1 bottle white Karo syrup
    Parowax (size of walnut)
Preparation
    Mix well.
    Cook to 242\u00b0 stirring constantly over medium heat. (It will burn easy.)
    When done, add chopped pecans.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Cool, cut and wrap in wax paper.
