Streamlined White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. water (warm)
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 tsp. salt (I use 1/2 tsp.)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
    Add shortening, sugar, salt and half the flour. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed or 300 strokes.
    Scrape sides and bottom often.
