Armadillo Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large green jalapeno peppers
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 lb. raw pork sausage
    1 1/2 cup Bisquick mix
    2 eggs
    1 pkg. Shake and Bake for chicken or pork
Preparation
    Devein jalapenos and remove seeds (a potato peeler works well). Soak in water with 1 Tbsp. sugar for about 20 minutes and drain. Stuff peppers with Cheddar cheese.
    If any remaining cheese, add to the raw pork sausage and Bisquick mix (which have been mixed together like a dough).
    Put about 1 Tbsp. of sausage mixture in palm of hand.
    Lay stuffed pepper on mix.
    Put mixture around pepper being sure to seal, so that the cheese will not come out. Beat eggs.
    Dip peppers in eggs and roll in Shake and Bake.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
