Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. jam
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. plain flour
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add well beaten eggs.
    Add flour, spices and jam.
    Dissolve soda in hot water and add to mixture. Cook in two layer pans at 350\u00b0.
