Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box cake mix (white or yellow)
    1 large box instant vanilla pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 can fruit cocktail
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 small pkg. frozen coconut
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed but make 3 layers; let cool.
    Mix pudding as directed on box.
    Put 1 layer of cake in bottom of punch bowl, then half of pudding, 1/2 can pineapple, 1/2 can cherry pie filling and 1/2 can fruit cocktail.
    Then put second layer of cake and remaining ingredients.
    Then put on third layer. Top with Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle on coconut.
    Top with nuts and cherries.
