Manicotti Or Large Seashells - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    2 slices sandwich bread, cubed
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/4 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
    8 pieces manicotti or shells
    1 (32 to 36 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In skillet, brown beef.
    Remove from heat; drain off fat. Combine bread and milk and let stand 2 minutes.
    Add bread and milk mixture to beef.
    Stir in egg, Mozzarella cheese, parsley, salt and pepper; set aside.
    Cook manicotti or shells according to package.
    Spread 1 1/2 cups sauce in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Fill manicotti/shells with beef mixture and place in single layer on sauce in prepared dish.
    Cover with remaining sauce and top with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Serves 8 manicotti or shells.
