Ingredients

1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
1/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

In small bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
With fork, blend in flour until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Stir in walnuts.
Reserve 1 cup for topping.
Press remaining mixture into greased 8-inch square pan.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
