Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, minced
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    2 cans Italian tomatoes
    1 can water
    1 can tomato paste
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. sweet basil
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 sprigs chopped parsley
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 cans minced clams
Preparation
    Brown onion and garlic in olive oil.
    Add other ingredients (except clams) and simmer 2 hours, then add clams and juice and simmer 1/2 hour longer.
    Serve over cooked spaghetti.
    Season to taste and enjoy.
