Lindberg Special(Uncooked Relish) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large heads white cabbage
8 bell peppers (4 red and 4 green)
12 small onions
1 (1 lb.) pkg. carrots
1/2 c. plain salt
4 c. white vinegar
4 c. sugar
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
-
Chop or grind all vegetables.
Add salt and let stand 2 hours. Press and drain all juice off.
Add white vinegar, sugar, mustard seed and celery seed.
Do not seal, keep refrigerated in a gallon jar.
Keeps for months.
