Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine (2 sticks)
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat margarine, sugars, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy.
Drop from teaspoon 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 6 dozen.
