Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 red sweet peppers
    12 green sweet peppers
    1 pod hot pepper
    9 onions
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. mixed spices
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Chop peppers and onions.
    Cover with boiling water.
    Let stand for 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Cover again with boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes; drain.
    Add sugar, seasonings and vinegar. Cook for 15 minutes.
    Pack into hot jars; seal at once.
