My Sister Doris' Scottish Oven Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/8 lb. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift flour 3 times and cut in butter. Add sugar, baking powder and soda.
    Add milk.
    Form dough; dough should be light but not too wet.
    Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness on a floured board.
    Do not overhandle dough.
    Cut with a 2 1/2-inch cutter.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes on nonstick sheet.
