Ingredients

2 c. hot milk
1/2 c. Grape-Nuts
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation

In a double boiler, heat milk and add sugar, salt, flour and butter.
Stir constantly over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Add Grape-Nuts and continue cooking 5 plus minutes, stirring occasionally.
(Mixture should be moderately thick.)
