Crandall Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 loaves French bread
1 lb. butter
1 large onion, diced
bacon (as desired), fried
4 tsp. poppy seed
paprika
1 lb. sliced Swiss cheese
Preparation

Slice bread almost through crust.
Place a slice of cheese between each slice of bread.
Melt butter with onion and poppy seed.
Pour over bread, wrapped loosely in foil.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Heat for 20 to 25 minutes at 325\u00b0, until cheese melts. May top with crumbled bacon before baking.
