    1 refrigerated roasted whole chicken (about 2 1/2 lb.)
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. pitted dates
    2 large celery stalks
    2 medium-size Red Delicious or other favorite eating apples
    1/2 c. walnuts
    1 c. light mayonnaise or light whipped salad dressing
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
