Oatmeal Caramelitas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
    1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    In large mixer bowl, combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, soda, salt and melted margarine.
    Blend well to form crumbs. Press 1/2 of crumbs into the bottom of an 11 x 7-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Sprinkle with chocolate pieces and pecans.
    Blend caramel topping and flour; pour caramel mixture back and forth over chocolate and pecans to cover.
    Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until golden brown.
    Chill 1 to 2 hours.
    Cut into bars.
