Cabbage And Tomato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. soup meat and bones
1 small head cabbage, cored and cut up
4 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 c. cold water
1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
1 sliced onion
juice of 1 lemon
2 or 3 lumps sour salt
Preparation
-
Place all ingredients, except lemons and sour salt in pot.
Let cook 2 hours.
Add sour salt, brown sugar, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Let simmer one more hour.
Taste for any needed seasonings.
